Order management for better order handling

Order management is the process by which a company manages and monitors orders from customers; from the moment the order is placed until it is delivered and invoiced. Regardless of whether you sell B2B, directly to the end customer or produce your own products, your sales orders are the focal point of your business - therefore order management is also the focal point of Tracelink.

For the majority of our customers, effective planning and management of work is essential for their production. The order process involves several steps, and most often includes a degree of inventory management: Receiving order, processing order, picking and packing, shipping, delivery and invoicing. If you don't have control over your order flow, it can have negative consequences for your stock, finances and customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to get a handle on order handling when the order volume grows.

Main & Sub-orders

If the order is complex, it can be divided into main and sub-orders in Tracelink. It serves various purposes, including better time management, resource optimization, quality control and flexibility in relation to changes or adaptations, etc.

Order Template

If you sell the same item over and over again, the order can be created via an order template, where the parts list (BOM) and route are specified.

Order Status

The order can be assigned a status so that employees in the company can follow the order's process through production.

Full Production Solution

Order management is very much a unique need for our customers, and therefore order management is in most cases combined with either stock and purchase management, sales management or task and time recording. At the same time, it can be integrated into an accounting program so that the order can be invoiced and the work paid for.

Post-Calculation

If combined with task management, you can use statistics to evaluate the work based on efficiency and scope.

Print

Put your own stamp on a tailored print for either job cards or order confirmations, etc.
