How to get Tracelink

Onboarding

As soon as you have registered with the company, you will receive login information and can, in principle, get started immediately. However, our experience shows that it is a good idea to get help with the setup when things are busy. Therefore, our start-up includes an implementation process where we calmly help with setup and review the most important functions. We have the routine, which is why we can easily set up the system for you and teach the functions - e.g. we can show you how to create your users and resources, specify type designations for materials, import existing data from spreadsheets, etc.

Implementation

Phase 1: Kickoff & Needs analysis
The implementation process starts with a kickoff meeting where Tracelink's implementation consultant meets with the customer's production manager. Here the implementation consultant will be introduced to the customer's work processes, possibly challenges, as well as review offers. Before the meeting, a projectplan will be sent.

A kickoff meeting typically takes between 1-2 hours.

Phase 2: Mapping of processes
After the first meeting, the consultant prepare a detalied mapping of the customer's work processes and clarifies how the system should be set up so that it best meets their needs.

Any changes to the project plan will be sent.

Phase 3: Account setup & Data Import
The consultant then sets about setting up the system based on the solution agreed upon by consultant and customer. That means adding the modules to be used, e.g. orders, stock, purchases, etc. to the customer's Tracelink account.

If data has been agreed upon for import, it will also be imported in this phase.

Phase 4: Education & GoLive
When the foundation for the solution has been laid, the training phase begins. The customer will receive online training via Microsoft Teams approx. 1 time a week for 1 hour at a time for an average of up to 3 months. If you wish it, you can also get lessons more often to get started quickly. The process is adapted to your solution and pace.

The edducation is done in stages. Often you will start with one focus at a time, e.g. creating users, then setting up salary profiles etc. In this way, the customer's key persons are "eased into" the system, and can explore the functions themselves at a quiet pace. Between each teaching session, some homework follows; such as creating goods, salary profiles, tools, etc.

Once the customer feels ready, they will transition into GoLive. But don't worry; we won't release you until you feel comfortable with navigating the system.
