Dashboard
Tracelink's Dashboard (control panel) is an overview tool that gives you a real-time overview of the most important parameters in your business. Everything from order flow and tasks to time recording employees and the company's overall productivity can be visualized on the dashboard.
There are many ways to set up the dashboard, and our customers also use the panel in very different ways. We got this confirmed when we organized a competition to nominate "the best control panel" set up in Tracelink among our customers. [Link to competition on LinkedIn]
Some of our customers use to set up the dashboard on a large screen in a production hall, where all employees can see an overview of the company's orders or tasks. Elsewhere, it is used by an administrator to monitor company productivity. Yes, the dashboard can then also be used to time manage the work tasks for a machine. It is entirely up to the individual company to assess where it is important to be able to see key information and how it can provide value for them; e.g. whether in one place you want to create an order overview that is shared with the employees and in another place turn the dashboard into a personal list of work tasks. The choice is yours.
Examples
For one type of company, just what they need may be a very simple order overview where you can follow the orders in their order flow. It can, for example, look something like this:
For others, the panel can become more complex, as an overview of more parameters than just orders is desired, e.g. time recording employees or a list of purchase orders. Maybe something ala this:
A company that uses sub-orders would probably also like to be able to see how far the sub-order has reached in the order flow. You might want to set it up like this:
Setup
Since the dashboard is set up at the user level, it is entirely up to the individual user to decide how they want to use the control panel and how they want to set it up. The dashboard is made up of sections that you can choose between as you see fit - and as can be seen here, there are an infinite number of possible combinations.
To set the panel, simply click the + in the left corner and tick the boxes you want to see. If you regret a category, you can always remove it again.
The headings can be adjusted in size and position. If you are not satisfied with the way the rubrics are positioned, you can move them by clicking on the top bar with the mouse and dragging the entire block to where you want it.
If you hold the mouse over an order, you will see a small section with more details about the order.
If you want to work on the order from the production hall, you can open the order via the dashboard by clicking on it, after which you will get a shortcut in the form of a pop-up.
If you haven't set up your dashboard yet, and you've got blood on your teeth, you can follow this YouTube guide:
